Are You Living Your Myth,
Or Someone Else’s?
We all have a myth living within us.
This myth gets lived in two ways: consciously,
or unconsciously.
When the myth is stuck in the unconscious,
it lives out as symptoms.
The myth becomes dogmatic, controlling.
Even abusive.
And it calls to you. The symptoms are soul's way of calling you to live your myth fully.
We have forgotten how to answer the call.
Perhaps your myth has been calling to you for sometime.
Perhaps, it has been calling to you your whole life.
You have tried to listen though it’s becoming clearer and clearer…
the old responses no longer work.
You understand psychology and your attachment style.
You have traced your patterns and are in dialogue with your parts.
You have done the ‘healing’.
And yet… the wound still aches.
This ache is the ancient magic that reaches to you from that fertile wound.
It creeps into your dreams. It whispers to you in synchronicities.
And through this ache you know: life longs for something deeper than explanation.
Something vaster than rationalism.
Something richer than psychoanalysis.
This is the myth calling.
Are you ready to answer it?
Why Step Into Your Myth Now?
Because when a myth goes unlived, it does not disappear but it distorts.
It becomes projection and blame so you can’t enjoy the power of responsibility.
Comparison so you’re easily pulled to distractions .
Co-dependency and people pleasing so you’re constantly in the shadows of others needs.
Numbness and freeze mode where the ache of disconnection throbs .
Endless self-doubt and overwhelm, like you can’t escape the spiral of uncertainty .
Fear. Terror.
The subtle and devastating erosion of anima,
of your life force.
These symptoms can be excruciating and we have been taught to pathologise them.
But depth psychology,
from Carl Jung to James Hollis,
to the mythic scholarship of Joseph Campbell, reminds us:
The psyche, the soul, speaks in symbol, in image.
In aliveness.
The symptoms are not to be shamed;
They long to be listened to and dissected.
So stop psychologising the way soul calls to you and instead…
mythologise the symptoms.
Imagine if:
Disorientation meant being lost in the mythic forest.
Numbness is the 100-year spellbound sleep.
Comparison is the enchanted mirror.
Projection is the invitation to meet your inner villain.
When we mythologise our lives rather than psychologise them,
something extraordinary happens:
Meaning returns.
Soul yearns.
Fire burns.
Every time we return to the mythic,
a little more magic seeps back into the broken world.
The magic repairs the ruptures.
In Devotion to Chiron: Mentor to the Heroes of Old
Step Into Your Myth is devoted to the medicine of Chiron.
In Greek myth, the centaur Chiron was not merely a healer. He was the mentor to all the greatest heroes of the ancients.
This immersion is held in devotion to that lineage.
And it is clear… we need new heroes. We need new heroines.
To meet the times we are living through.
Throughout this 12 week mythic quest, we will honour, invoke and journey with Chiron. Because he is real.
Returning to the mythic is to trust the ways that all the disintegrated magic is real.
And that the magic… is you.
Chiron is currently in Aries, the sign of the most ferocious fire. The wound is inflamed.
He will move into Taurus in our penultimate week together, which is to say, he will move into body. Into steadiness. Into stability.
Chiron will step onto the fertile holding of Taurus as you step into your own myth and there is no greatest time to trust his earthy wisdom.
By exploring your own astrological Chiron placement, you will tend to the fertile wound at the heart of your own natal chart,
in the centre of your own myth.
But more than that… you will come to understand how the force of magic and myth that is Chiron will mentor you,
depending on his unique and deeply personal relationship to other planetary aspects (ie. GODS and MYTHIC BEINGS) in your natal chart.

What Will Be Different For You After 12 Weeks?
You will deeply inhabit the wisdom of your astrological natal chart and understand how Chiron can support your journey forward by mentoring various aspects from it.
You will have a new archetypal lens and language with which you view the transformative moments of your life, the key narrative arcs of your myth.
You will feel the difference between living unconsciously inside a pattern and consciously inside a myth.
You will trust your inner authority more than external narrative.
You will trust the magic, the medicine, that pours out of your wound as it heals. And, you will trust how the world longs for your particular flavour of magic.
You will recognise your life as symbolic terrain rather than random circumstance.
You will know how to work consciously with dream, archetype and synchronicity.
You will be excited to continue living your myth and endlessly inviting yourself to more fully inhabit it. This won’t mean that life becomes always easy and clear. It means life is full, rich and rewarding.

There are two full workshop days on 8 May and 5 June, 1-7pm BST.

I hold a Masters in Psychology. I teach embodiment. I founded Embodied Dream Weaving as a devotional act:

Chiron’s Cave
The great fire pit is now as cool as ancient stone.
Yet as I rest my limbs inside it,
bones offered as fresh kindling,
your breath catches upon flame once again.
May the rippling laughter of
Heracles, Jason, and Achilles
forever bounce off of these listening walls,
the heat of the heroic tales
which you gave steady strength to,
the decimated ends of them all.
The reflective light of my mirror
dances across the cave,
and I catch for a moment
the great vat of Pelion ash,
just where you left it.
There is a grief flickering here,
for the little boys,
as much as for the big women.
But I want you to know, to see,
the ficus carrica trees which sprout
from the remains of all that you tended in here.
They reach for the light, they reach for the light
and stay rooted in the wound in the earth
in which you made your home.
As I wipe the mossy narratives
from the cave edges across my cheekbones,
I remember my dream.
A Final Invocation
If you do not step into your myth, you will live inside someone else’s.
And the wound festers and turns inward.
And the symptoms get louder and begin to burn.
But when you gather the painful pieces and say:
“This too belongs.”
You do not erase the past. You crown it.
And in doing so, a little more magic returns to the world.

This immersion is open to seekers, space-holders, therapists, facilitators, artists and guides who are ready to enter the mythic with devotion. To support your journey, you’ll need:
Some experience with somatic practices or body-based awareness.
It is highly recommended you have your natal chart read before beginning or during Part 1 so that you have awareness of your astrological map.
To feel psychologically resourced, with the capacity to meet deep material in community.
A willingness to engage with myth, dream and ritual as living presences.
Curiosity, devotion and openness to being surprised by what listening to the mythic will reveal.
This work is not about mastering content, but about surrendering to process. The more you bring your longing, the more the magic will offer its gifts.

The course is led by me, Libby Rose Waite. I’m a BACP-licensed psychotherapist, somatic storyteller, embodiment guide and Jungian researcher. I have a Masters in Psychology and years of devotion to depth work, ritual and the body. I hope to bring devotion and heart, academic rigour and soulful imagination to all my offerings. I am also a tantrika, weaving eros and soul into my work with myth, dream and ritual.
