Dreams, like myths, need to be rooted. They belong to the earth. They tell the story of the animate. The artistry of the embodied mythic carries archetypal images, charges and universal themes that resonate across time and culture if we allow them to propagate. They offer glimpses into the soul’s inner landscape, just as myths provide a shared map for navigating the mysteries of existence. Storytelling, in turn, transforms these raw, symbolic materials into forms that can be spoken, heard and integrated, so that we can bridge the gap between inner and outer worlds. Together, Dreams, myth and storytelling create a triad of meaning-making, guiding us toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place within the larger story.

Persephone in the 5th
Persephone, the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, embodies the duality of life and death in Greek mythology. Her tale begins with her abduction by Hades, the god of the underworld, as she gathered flowers in a meadow. This event plunged her mother, Demeter, into profound grief, causing the earth to wither and crops to fail. The myth explains the changing seasons: Persephone's return to the surface each year heralds spring, while her descent back to the underworld marks the onset of winter.
Beyond her role in the natural world, Persephone's story delves into themes of transformation, autonomy, and the cyclical nature of existence. Her journey from innocence to power, and her reign alongside Hades in the underworld, reflect the complexities of identity and destiny.
